Her main attraction to the medium of photography is its emotional resonance. "I love giving people something from a moment in their life that will be treasured for years to come," she asserts. In addition to traditional black and white photography, Jeanette adds a personal and sophisticated touch to her original fine art digital prints by enhancing them with pastel pencil.

Jeanette Galie Burkle is a member of the Loudoun Arts Council, the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce, and the Virginia Professional Photographers Association, and currently teaches photography at the Loudoun Academy of the Arts.
